For fee-only & fiduciary planners

Fee-only means your AI should be fee-only too.

Last updated April 13, 2026 · By Quiet Machines

Fee-only planners chose their model because the incentives are clean. Your AI should work the same way — no per-lead fees, no per-close bonuses, no vendor trying to upsell you into a bigger seat count. Quiet Machines installs AI that helps you plan, communicate, and serve more clients without compromising the fiduciary model.

The real problem

What you're actually dealing with.

The pain

The back office is eating your planning hours.

You became a planner to plan. Instead you're writing quarterly letters, chasing CRM updates, and prepping for reviews by hand. The fee-only model means you can't throw bodies at it — your margins don't allow it. You need leverage that doesn't cost per head.

What we install

Operational leverage that respects the fiduciary model.

We install AI workflows that handle the work around the planning — meeting prep, content, compliance review, client communications — so you spend your hours on actual planning. No AI gives recommendations. No AI talks to clients without a human in the loop. The fiduciary standard doesn't bend for software, and neither do we.

The workflows that matter most

What runs after we leave.

Client Brain

Every client's planning history, preferences, and conversation context in one queryable place — not scattered across five tools.

Compliance Reviewer

Auto-checks every piece of outbound content against the SEC marketing rule before it goes out. Your CCO reviews the flag, not the full queue.

Content Studio

Educational emails, quarterly letters, and blog content in your voice — because fee-only firms win on trust, and trust comes from showing up consistently.

Meeting Prep

Pulls statements, planning notes, and recent emails before each review so you walk in with context instead of scrambling.

Touch Point Engine

Between-meeting touches — birthday notes, life-event check-ins, article shares — that keep the relationship alive without a spreadsheet.

The install in numbers.

Common questions

What firms like yours ask us.

Does the AI ever give financial advice to clients?

Never. Every workflow supports the planner — it drafts, it preps, it flags. Nothing goes to a client without a human reviewing it. The fiduciary standard is non-negotiable.

We use eMoney / RightCapital / MoneyGuidePro. Does this integrate?

We don't replace your planning software. We wire the AI around it — pulling data for meeting prep, feeding insights into the Client Brain, and making sure nothing falls between the tools you already use.

How is this different from buying Wealthbox AI or another CRM add-on?

A CRM add-on does one thing inside the CRM. We install workflows across your entire practice — meeting prep, content, compliance, lead scoring, touch points, admin, and a firm-wide brain. Different scope entirely.

Is the $50,000 a recurring fee?

No. It's a flat fee for the three-day on-site install plus eight months of running it with you. After that, month-to-month support is available but optional. You own the stack regardless.

What's the typical timeline for a fee-only firm to see results?

Operational results — saved hours, faster follow-up, cleaner CRM — show up in week 3. Marketing and prospecting results — new leads attributable to AI workflows — show up in month 3 to 4. AEO citation traffic shows up in month 4 to 6. The firms that see results fastest are the ones that put the principal in the on-site week.

Do we need to switch CRMs or add new tools to do this?

Almost never. We've installed against every major advisor CRM and every major planning tool. The system runs on top of your existing stack. The only times we'd recommend a change are if your CRM has been EOL'd or if your current stack actively blocks the workflows we're trying to install.

What's the compliance picture for a fee-only firm specifically?

Same as any RIA — the SEC's marketing rule and AI risk alert apply. The fee-only angle adds some niche-specific items (state regulators, professional licensing rules, niche-specific data sensitivity). We pre-load the Compliance Reviewer workflow with the relevant references during the residency.

Do you have a case study for a firm like ours?

Reference clients on request after a fit call. We don't publish case studies because most of our clients prefer not to be public about the AI install — competitive advantage in a small market. We'll connect you with two principals who've done the same engagement once both sides agree.
